Is there a difference between otc zantac and prescription zantac ? the prescription one caused me seizure and headaches and agitation. otc no side effects. both otc and prescription 300 mg before bed. 20 mg ppi in the morning. is this normal?

No difference: Zantac does not cause epileptic seizures. If there are no side effects from generic ranitidine there will be no side effects from Zantac brand.
