Likely not related: cortisol testing should be interpreted in relation to the time of the day. Cortisol level should be obtained at 8 o'clock in the morning, for evaluating hypoadrenalism. Low cortisol and allergies are likely not related. Using high-dose steroid medications for treating allergies, might be a cause for possible hypoadrenalism.
