Call your dentist: You may be developing an infection, or it can be minor swelling due to the procedure. Either way, it should be examined.

Needs evaluation.: You may need antibiotics if you have infection. If you have a dry socket, the wound may need to be refreshed and surgically closed to achieve faster healing. You may need some pain meds. if you are in pain.
