Radiation risk: All radiation has inherent risks for potential dna damage. MRI does not pose the same risk as CT scans as their imaging uses magnetic resonance instead. However, low dose scanning can be used for paranasal CT scans and studies show the image quality is the same as a standard dose CT. Talk with your doctor about what is best for you. God Bless
