VERY serious: You have Wilson’s until proven otherwise, then it’s rule out acute hepatitis, chronic hepatitis B and C, autoimmune hepatitis, and hemochromatosis. All are easy to manage but will kill you if missed. I trust you are taking no medications that your liver might be allergic to, including weird herbals.

Space is limited for answers. Another common cause is non-alcoholic steatohepatitis -- it's partly genetic, but the mainstay of treatment is an aerobic fitness-focused lifestyle. I trust your physician will get the right diagnosis soon. Best wishes.
