I recently got a bad sunburn. i stopped peeling and my skin is recovering. i've recently noticed that on my shoulders i have light patches on my skin?

Will change in time: Healing skin takes time to re-pigment & as such usually starts out pale. You should take care to use sunscreens over these areas because they will burn easier than your regular skin surfaces with the same sun exposure. It can take a year or more to fully even out your skin tone after a significant burn.
