Exam needed: Breast discomfort around period time isn't unusual and it would be best to wait, if there is no discoloration, for your period to end before you have a careful breast exam. Mood disorder, palpitations, sweating may be due to hormonal swings, but hyperthyroidism, true depression, low estrogen status have to be ruled out. ?Eventual referral to a psychiatrist to help you cope and reduce anxiety
