A member asked:

In the test results of a chest xray the dr, noted " mild scoliotic curvature of the dorsal spine" what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bend: The presumptive normal appearance of a spine on a front to back x-ray is a straight line, top to bottom. A slight bend in the form of an S (drifting away from center & back) is common & often arises during the rapid growth of adolescence. By itself it is an incidental finding of no particular importance.
