My toenail is growing backwards, can it grow out without surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nail Bed Injury?: Did you have an injury on that toenail? If your toenail is growing in "Backwards", it maybe because your nail bed has been injured. If your nail bed was injured, surgery may not be able to fix it. More surgery may even damage the nail further. You may need to have the nail permanently removed if it growing in backwards, and especially if it is hurting you.
