I am taking my pulse with my finger to my wrist. am i expecting to feel one solid beat or is there a "bump bump" sound usually between heart beats?

Possible extra beat: with PVC ir APC. Keep checking and if persistent, get a medical exam and an EKG or cardiac monitor.
