That is: a non specific description. Did they make any additional comments about it? It could be describing a kidney stone, or a small solid mass. Echogenic simply means that it looks brighter than adjacent tissues on ultrasound.

See a urologist: you did not give age, but you need more detailed scans etc to accurately determine the most likely diagnosis of the mass etc. See a urologist with this info or your FP...of course, the question is....why did you have the US in the first place?
