Gastroenterologist: These symptoms could be due to a gastrointestinal tract infection which may be viral, bacterial or parasitic but could also be due to irritable bowel syndrome, gluten or lactose intolerance or sensitivity. After 2 weeks of these symptoms it's time to see a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. Appropriate tests will be ordered. In the meantime take mylanta and kaopectate for some relief.
