5.5 weeks pregnant, saw fetal pole for first time, 11 days ago no pole. doctor recommending terminate due to slow hcg rise 4 w 2092/5.5 w 4200, i feel like due to the development of the fetal pole things are coming along?

Safe to wait: Although the rise in the beta hcg is slower than we would normally expect, there is no reason you have to end the pregnancy. This is obviously a desired pregnancy, and waiting to see what happens is perfectly fine! It is true that you may end up having a miscarriage - but, maybe you won't. Medicine is not a perfect science.
