A cardiologist should assess degree of leaking and whether your palpitations (Ps) are due to a treatable condition called atrial fibrillation (AF). If not due to AF, Ps may lessen when not lying on the left side. Talk with your MD about beta blocker medication as a potential treatment for Ps.
