A member asked:

Is there a cure for plantar fasctis like surgery to where you dont have to live on pain meds and insoles all your life ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Podiatrist can help: For plantar fascia pain or other related symptoms in the arch of the foot... a patient may consider getting an evaluation from a podiatrist, sports medicine doctor, or orthopedic (MD) foot doctor. Treatment options include anti-inflammatories, changing shoes and orthotic inserts, special taping, physical therapy, modifying sports activities. Hard to achieve a complete cure if symptoms are chronic.
