Doctor can recheck: A lump on the chestwall can be from the skin, the muscles, the lymph nodes, the ribs, etc... The best person to see first is the primary care doctor, who can then refer to a specialist if he is not able to diagnose and solve the problem. A lump can be a cyst, a lymph node, an infected oil gland in the skin, a skin abscess, etc... A recurring infection in a "cyst" may need surgical removal.
