A member asked:

Have you ever heard of someone getting a red rash and very dry skin/headaches while taking usana vitamins? i stopped taking them immediately

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but...: In these cases, the symptoms may or may not be just a concidence rather than caused by a vitamin product. Exam may be needed. If a person has a well-balanced diet, then he may not need a multivitamin because his foods contain enough. One can take vitamins if he does not have a truly balanced diet. Some people need extra vitamin D, calcium, folate, omega3, etc..., depending on individual issues.
