Rx-Surgery: Treatment of anaplastic oligoastrocytoma is dependent on the size and location of the tumor. When possible the treatment begins with surgery in order to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Chemotherapy or radiation therapy may be necessary after surgery to destroy any cancer cells which are remaining.
