Lower left side behind sternum pain on swallowing food, drink had it fr 2/3wks rib area feels achy, no traumas i'm asthmatic and i have palpatations on and off fr a few yrs now. been given gastro tablets no change. fear tumour or heart failure. ?

Multiple causes: If you have pain on swallowing food esophagus must be looked at for the cause probably not tumor nor heart failure. see a doctor I do not know what gastro tablets are.
