May take time: Depo is the one form of birth control that can cause a delay in return of a woman's fertility after stopping it - meaning it may take some time to get pregnant. In some studies, it has taken women up to 9 months to ovulate after being on Depo. You will still be able to get pregnant - but it may take longer. You can use ovulation predictor kits to see if you are ovulating yet.
