Eye infection in 20 month old, together with blocked nose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Conjunctivitis: Conjunctivitis (pink eye) can be caused from a bacteria or virus, it is difficult to know which one it is but they are slightly different. Children most often have a virus causing their symptoms and do not need antibiotics (eye drops) and the pink eye will improve on its own. If the eye has a lot of drainage, is getting worse, or your child has fevers or vision changes, see his doctor.
