Hydrate hydrate!: Everyone is different as far as how dehydrated they will get under different conditions and how acclimated you may or may not be to those conditions. Under normal situations 48-64oz of water a day is necessary for most adults to stay properly hydrated. If you are in extreme heat, adding an electrolyte solution (Gatorade like) is a good idea. Drink enough that you urinate several times a day.
