Boy age 1, been to dr tues. diag with throat infec. 3dose of antibiotics so far. fever still 38.5 up. is it normal? or do i go back to dr?

Could be: The germ had a head start & it takes a while for any med to kill them off. Throat infections can also have a virus occur alongside the germ which is unaffected by antibiotics. As long as the kid is taking fluids well enough to pee every 6-8 hrs you can give it a few more days.
