Doctor follow up: A day 3 E2 level is not typically checked unless the physician is specifically looking for something. Sometimes a day 3 FSH level is done to check the ovarian reserve. More commonly an AMH level is done. I would schedule a follow up with the doctor who ordered the test to clarify what they are evaluating and to explain the results
