Constipation: A myomectomy is a big surgery, and having constipation or difficulty passing gas can happen after any major surgery. The best thing you can do is be active with walking - that really helps you pass gas! But in the mean time you can also take over the counter things like Gas-X, and laxatives such as Miralax or Senna to help you pass a bowel movement. A glycerine suppository works, too.
