Confusing post: A Mickey button is placed through a hole in the abdominal wall directly into the stomach. The hole is a direct tunnel to the stomach and any time the device is removed the stomach contents can leak trough the hole. If the stomach contents leak while the Mickey button is in place, the retention balloon is not properly inflated.
