Need evaluation.: It's hard to say what is causing your gastrointestinal symptoms without evaluation. If viral, your symptoms should subside after a day or two. However, if your symptoms have persisted for more than 1-2 days, you should see a doctor (family medicine or gastroenterologist) for evaluation of your symptoms and to rule out more problematic causes. In the meantime, stay hydrated.

Possibilities : First, since the event, are you continuing with the same symptoms? If so, it can be several possible reasos, depending on the details of you case- this is best discussed with a healthcare professional or a call to your doctor. If you are better, it may be due to something you recently ingested or were exposed to. Monitor yourself and if symptoms return, call your doctor.
