How long can it take for sciatica to resolve? i was dx with sciatica 1 wk ago. pred&flexoril prescribed but symptoms still persist @ 15d post onset. also having tightness in calf. pain not bad but the fatigue is annoying. some days ok, others worse.

Sciatica causes: Sciatica is used to describe any leg pain that goes with back pain. True sciatic radiciculopathy often has pain below the knee, sensation changes, and even weakness. If it does not resolve within two weeks then testing may be required such as x-rays.
