Sounds normal: There have long been debates about "vaginal" versus "clitoral" orgasm. Most sex experts believe that clitoral stimulation is almost always the only way to orgasm; and that even when there is vaginal stimulation without direct clitoral contact, the clitoris still has a central role. Others disagree, but your situation is very common and not at all abnormal. It's nothing to worry about.
