This sounds: like "classic" "Splenic Flexure Syndrome" the COLLECTION OF GAS in the "highest" part of your large bowel where it takes a turn under your SPLEEN in the Left Upper abdomen. (See Diagram between # 2 and 3)) This is often associated with IBS (and BTW is the "catching" sensation runners get since they "shake" the gas which RISES to the top.... Just a thought...your symptoms need full evaluation Dr Z
