Does progesterone cream help with vaginal dryness? i have pcos taking birth control pills and am experiencing dryness because of this. i read pcos patients are estrogen dominant. should i start taking progesterone cream?

Evidence based: I am not aware of any evidence that would support that. Birth control pills would be providing adequate hormonal balance so hormonal deficiency is not likely the issue causing vaginal dryness. Replens or Prevaleaf Oasis are over the counter moisturizers that you could try. A gyn exam evaluation for other vulvar conditions would be a good idea
