A member asked:

What are the risks involved of having an injection done into the eye? i had something called a pvd which seems to have escalated.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PVD: Usually after a pvd and a normal retinal exam no treatment is necessary. There are definite risks associated with intraocular injection. Only done if absolutely necessary for ocular procedures. The Doctor doing the necessary procedure will go over the risks and necessity of the procedure.
