Need repeat eval: Pvd in eye vessels is unusual. May be PVD in carotid artery or from aorta with debris traveling to eye vessel. Should have underlying cause assessed. If diabetic eye vascular disease, see an ophthalmologist with retina experience.

Observation : Pvd stand for posterior vitreous detachment. Its very common with aging eyes. Observation and ruling out retinal detachment is the best choice. Watch for symptoms like curtain coming in front of eyes or flashes of light.
