Higher: The risk is probably 10 x greater than a patient without these characteristics. Still probably about 1/1000 unless you have a family history of retinal tear and detachment.

I have a habit of blinking my eyes hard & fast. Sometime it cause pain while doing it. Maybe it's because of dry eyes or it has become my habit. So does it cause any damage to eyes like retinal tear or detachment as I'm high myopic & have floaters?
