5days after start iron tablets i've started to get hot flushes but no sweating .. last all day. would it be iron or am i going through peri menopause?

"Hot flushes": At 49, it is usually a "pre-menopausal" variation in estrogen production by the ovaries which produces "hot flushes". This is secondary to delays in ovulation and consequent variation in estrogen levels, the "flushes" occurring when estrogen drops suddenly. It has little to do with "iron tablets".
