I was referred by a wc ime doc for further treatment of both my knees with an orthopedist.at my 1st appt.,the orth. only checked my r knee& told me he would only treat my r knee for now.will treat l knee later.is it legal or right for him to do so?

Yes and no: Should have examined both knees at same visit BUT if you are operated on both knees on same day you are crippled. Better for you if you wait for one to heal and THEN to have the other one operated upon. Same thing if you ever need to have your hands operated upon!!

So I had 3 xray done on my knee today so now next week I have to go see an orthopedic surgeon what can they do I've never seen a doc like this b4 .
I hurt my knee at work, after seeing an orthopedic he put me in a brace and physical therapy in a few weeks... is it possible that my hip, calf muscle, and akle hurt now due to my knee injury?
After bike crash, ER doc says sprained LCL. Said no other injuries in knee--ice it, okay to walk with no brace until healed. Is this usual treatment?
