Had a fracture on toe & was put cast for 3 weeks. now its taken off but just was given orthopedic boots.why and till when will is the boot needed.help?

It is needed: for about 6 weeks in total. The toe must be inline and and had the bone forming a callous. This way now the boot will keep it straight as well as give you some liberty to walk. Keep it on most of time of the day for the next 3 weeks and then see your orthopedics doctor.
