Full body itching that goes away for months at a time. liver function test ok apart from alt 70 & fatty liver. also get acne like symps. what cause?

Pruritis: If your pruritus is otherwise unexplained I suspect that it may be caused by liver disease in view of the presence of elevated ALT and a fatty liver. I recommend abstinence from alcohol,following a low fat, low starch diet and being evaluated and followed by a hepatologist or gastroenterologist. Pruritis is not common in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease but can occur. Ask the liver specialist
