Oozing: you may continue to have some oozing the rest of today. Try closing down on a tea bag for 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. If you are going to drink coffee make sure it's at room temperature to prevent washing out the clot.

Blood on Gauze: A drop of blood staining a gauze pack is really nothing to worry about. If there is excessive bleeding, then you should see your treating dentist/surgeon. Otherwise, 24 hours later you should be fine for a cup of coffee.
