It's all about you!: A diagnosis of depression means your symptoms are distressing, interfering with your functioning, or both. Depression can have long term effects on your health and can be fatal. The focus should be on how you can eliminate or reduce the symptoms. Medications & psychotherapy can really help, but the absolute most important thing is to find a competent professional you trust to partner with you.
