A member asked:

Baby boy 1 week old&cries a lot at night.looks like might have cramps, face goes red&looks like he's trying to pass gass. can i give him telament drop?

Cramps ?: Every crying baby does so by tightening their breathing muscle. This pushes out on the belly and makes it firm. Many people assume they have a digestive or stomach issue when this happens. Many infants cry when they realize they are alone or bored or whatever because they know it will lead to some sort of change. An exam and other symptoms might clarify the issue. I don't recommend meds.
