Possible retina: You may be having a problem with your retina (in the back of your eye). It is very important that you see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.

Emergency situation: If one is having new, significant, continuing visual changes (meaning this is a new situation for her), then it is time for an emergency examination by an eye doctor. Her own ophthalmologist can do this, if that doctor is available now. Otherwise, she can go to the Emergency Room. These situations are emergencies because certain disorders need rapid treatment, to try to prevent losing vision.
