I contracted shingles (ophthalmic) 3 weeks ago. i am seeing a specialist for my eye. my blisters are almost finished with only 2 small scabs left in my hairline. question : can i transmit shingles ? my daughter has a 2 year old & is 5 months pregnant

Unlikely: Shingles are not as easy to transmit as chickenpox. Only debris from active sores have the germ, not saliva or a cough. Avoiding any contact with the debris prevents transmission. If the 2yo & her mother were immunized or had chickenpox they would be immune.
