Hot Feet: Spinal stenosis puts pressure on the spinal cord and the nerves in the spine. The nerves that exit, run down the legs into your feet. Among symptoms, are edema (swelling), burning, pain, and numbness, etc. Heat causes temporary dilation of blood vessels & fluid pools in the legs and feet by gravity/activity. Fluids compresses muscle/tendon & nerves, blood vessels. Ouch. Have your doc check you out
