A member asked:

When calculating days from hiv exposure for testing, is the day the event occurred considered day 1?

Doesn't matter: Normally the exposure day would be called day zero, the next is day 1, etc. But it really doesn't matter. Have an HIV antigen-antibody ("combo" or "4th generation") blood test 6 weeks or more after exposure for 100% conclusive results. The time required for accurate testing isn't all that precise. Whether it's day 41, 42, or 43 won't matter.
