I wouldn't: Most adult sleeping pills have a variety of side effects & are not appropriate for kids. Melatonin in a 3-5 mg tablet (OTC) or diphenhydramine 25-50 mg (benedryl) given occasionally will provide a temporary crutch until the kid gets back in a good pattern.
