Melatonin: This is a very controversial topic. Your child should be assessed for any medical or behavioral disorder. A bedtime routine should be in place. At the end of the day the solution may be melatonin. The appropriate dose has not been shown to be harmful. All the best.

No established dose: Melatonin has been around for quite some time & many adults find it helpful. There are no studies in kids that define a "safe" dose. If you ever try it, be sure to use the lowest dose you can find.
