Please advise as to what can i use to remove wax from my 6 year old son ears?

OTC drops: There are a number of over the counted ear drops that are available to soften/dissolve ear wax. They are more accepted by kids than trying to dig the stuff out & less likely to result in pain & bloody ears. The products have instructions on their labels.
