Highly variable: This depends entirely on the stage at which teh diagnosis was made and what treatments are necessary. If diagnosed and treated early, an entirely normal lifespan and normal health can be expected. But highly advanced disease, e.g. metastatic to bones of course is very serious, perhaps fatal within weeks or months. The patient's doctor is the one to ask!

Prostate Ca treatmen: Your question is hard to answer since outcomes depend on the stage at which the cancer is diagnosed, patient factors such as age and state of health, and the particular type of treatment that is given. In general, prostate cancer that is detected early and is treated with surgery or radiation, can be cured. If you have specific questions, you should talk to a urologist in your area.
