Had this cough.for a long time and now i cough to.the point i chock and when.i go to swallow something feels like ther is stuck in my throat been to gp x 3 and had meds and didn't help at.all? and got told not.take anything as would do any thing

100 day cough?: You sound like you're describing whooping cough. This is actually quite common in people your age and causes attacks of coughing that can cause people to vomit or even faint. The infection itself will likely be long gone but the cough persists for about 100 days. Eventually it will settle. Long term coughs do warrant a chest x-ray as a minimum investigation however, get this done if not already.
